Queen Mary’s Dolls’ House (built in the 1920’s) is the most famous doll house in the world. The top artists and craftsman of the time contributed to its construction.

In the house, all of the books are miniatures of contemporary British authors and the replicas of the Crown Jewels have real diamonds and rubies. The house also has both electricity and functioning plumbing.

Another treasure for myself!

Well yes! Finally I’m done with college! YAAAAAEY! And wtf I got a medal!!

It was during graduation practice that I got informed about having an honorable mention, I was surprised when it was mentioned after my name was called, I really didn’t expect it! If I did, I should have known earlier but since I didn’t, I made no effort to ask if I was included hahaha!

I got a CGPA of 3.355 which was 0.045 away from being Cum Laude HAHAHA oh well, but I’m still very very very happy for myself that I got this.

^Awkward smile again. :|

My boyfriend is the number one person who is always supporting me! I’m serious. (Well of course maybe not financially but you know what I’m saying) He missed the part when I went up the stage because he was out to buy me a bouquet nearby ahihihi. <3 He thought our school was one of the last to be called, like what happened during the dean’s listers awarding. I forgot to tell him that we were one of the first ones to be called. :<

Obligatory bouquet shot. Thank you bibi, I love you!! <3

Here’s my overexposed vain face shot. I just wanted to show off my contact lenses lololol.

This past week really had me. Mixed emotions. I couldn’t bear all the anxiety, happiness, excitement, awe, disappointment, discouragement, and wtfness that I cried my heart out to Gab. Sorry bb for all the sipon hehehe.

Oohhh.. Graduation gift? What is that? I don’t even know what that means. HAHAHA! The diploma is my graduation gift. Thank you.

Emo post under the cut. Pun intended.

Condo living room design for a family of 4 from last year. (Taken with Instagram)

I love designing, conceptualizing, shopping for furniture, and being at the work site. It may be hard and hassle at first but once I get the feel that I’m the one tasked to style a certain space, it motivates me not to laze around and procastinate. But there are some days during a project that I don’t want to think about it, especially when a client isn’t interactive or spontaneous enough to describe everything she wants and leaves all the thinking to me and then in the end reject the entire concept. Hindi ako manghuhula. :’(

And oh, I’m not talking about the client that I had with this design - this is actually one of my favorites. This was the most exciting and enjoyable project I ever had so far. Minimalist? Exciting? It might seem contradicting but yes, this is my favorite! My clientele here were very friendly and accomodating, they were really cooperative with me and the workers, and they were also describing in detail what they want to have in the design. With that I was pressured but eager to produce a design that they would love. I want to design things that people would appreciate and find use to.

It really helps when your client is cooperative and eager as well. I’m not really into surprising a client with a design they threw at me with a “bahala ka na” blessing. I want to surprise them with a design that they are anticipating to see but amazes them because I gave them more from what they were expecting.

The above design might not be appealing or incredible for most people but if the client wants it, then I’m happy.

Scale Modelling

Lalli and I decided to hassle ourselves in making a scale model for our Economics class. Hahahaha!

Nah, it was actually fun and rewarding after all those back and leg pains. :D

We made a scale model for a self-sustaining home. It includes solar panels, grey water recycling, dynamic drainage systems, wind turbine, rooftop garden etc.

I carved the toilet and the sink out of soap.

Lalli made this metal tree. She was planning to put leaves there at first but changed her mind. It turned out well actually, very artistic! :D

This was the last part that we finished. We were so tired and sleepy that’s why it looked lacking hahahaha!

That’s all. It actually looks better in real life hahahahaha! :))))

Have you noticed the beautiful street art along Edsa? Apparently they absorb smog too, that’s why they still look good. I’m surprised that this project has not gained that much media attention.

“Boysen KNOxOUT is the first air cleaning paint in the world with CristalActiv photocatalytic technology, proven to neutralize the emissions of 10 cars per square meter painted. And the massive artworks to be featured in The EDSA Project are set to neutralize the emissions of cars passing through EDSA by 25%.”
